Passing of Susan Rachlin on March 8, 2008
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Susan (Shoshana) Rachlin on March 8, 2008. She was one of the pillars of the International March of the Living virtually from the beginning. Her passion and talent for education was expressed in her many years working at the Board of Jewish Education of Greater New York, directing summer camp, Camp Shoshana, and of course her commitment and drive toward the vision and success of the March of the Living. A devoted mother, grandmother, and sister, outspoken, a talented writer and musician with a great love for Israel, she will be missed by all who were touched by her presence and varied accomplishments.

"The Oprah Winfrey Show" on Wednesday, May 24, featured a special
presentation of "Oprah and Elie Wiesel at Auschwitz Death Camp." March of
the Living assisted in the organization of their trip and also advised on
music for the episode.
