The International March of the Living joins the entire Jewish world in mourning the untimely passing of Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein, z’l, an acclaimed visionary whose tireless devotion to the Jewish People is legendary. His commitment to forging relationships with all the peoples of the world has had enormous impact on Israel, his assistance to Holocaust survivors in Israel knew no boundaries and his melding of the relationship between Christians and Jews opened new doors of understanding, alliance and support.

It is with deep sadness at the loss of this devoted leader that we extend our condolences to the Eckstein family and pray that they be comforted among the Mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.
