The Choice

Embrace the Possible — by Dr. Edith Eva Eger, z”l

The Choice: Embrace the Possible, by Dr. Edith Eva Eger.

In August 2026, alumni from across the world gathered online for the first meeting of the Alumni Book Club — a new space to reconnect, reflect, and keep the conversation going.

Sent to Auschwitz as a teenager, Dr. Edith Eva Eger survived and went on to become a renowned psychologist. The Choice is her memoir of trauma, resilience, and the freedom we can choose even after the unimaginable. We read her story in loving memory of Dr. Eger, z”l.

The session was moderated by Scott Saunders MBE, CEO of the International March of the Living. After opening remarks, alumni moved into small breakout groups to discuss the book together, then returned for closing reflections.
